Description
This project consists of the construction of two pavilions intended to house sporting events such as basketball, handball and indoor soccer matches. Each pavilion feature a service area, locker rooms and two stairways to access the upper levels where retractable bleachers were placed during the Olympic games. After the games these buildings housed federation offices. The pavilions have nine metallic porticos supported by columns with standard profiles. Lateral enclosures above three meters consist of self-supporting micro-veined panels. Below three meters, lateral enclosures consist of self-supporting panels with smooth pre-painted color exteriors. The free side, which face the pergola at the entrance, feature glass and aluminum joineries.
