Description
This building meets LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental design) standards for gold level certification. The materials and construction methods used were specially selected minimize environmental impact during both the construction process and future use of the building. Some of the special design features of this green building include a sophisticated air treatment system, highly light-permeable glass façades, afforestation with native plant species, and an artificial lagoon where grey waters are discharged for reuse in irrigation or firefighting. Although mainly made up of office space, the structure also includes workshops, labs, a showroom and a large cafeteria for company personnel.
