Description
Although this shopping center has a very simple concept and structural scheme, execution of the project was complex and technically demanding mainly due to the vast expanses of inclined cement slabs which were needed to support cinema spectator seating. For this part of the project, a double sandwich-type slab structure was created which was lightened with expanded polystyrene and unified using ribs with iron connectors. Easy to assemble fitted metal double panel enclosures were used on the exterior to create a pleasant modern façade.
