Description
This commercial office tower’s design is simple and efficient with two basement levels with ample parking space, a ground floor with additional garden parking spaces that blend into a green background, a mezzanine and eleven upper floors. The open floor plans, elevated floors and removable ceilings offer flexibility to accommodate a wide variety of potential users. Each floor has a central core surrounded by exposed concrete walls and used for vertical circulation, restrooms and service installations. From a technical perspective, the presence of a high water table required groundwater lowering via the use of drills, groundwater pumps and the creation of a network of drains. Structural calculations for the concrete contemplated the use of beam-less slabs and round perimetral columns. The building stands on a 1.3m high platform and has a curtain-wall exterior that adds to its character.
